Precise vertical alignment
The purpose of the adjustable flight stick base is to allow for precise vertical alignment of the stick grip per seat height and grip extension (if installed to the stick).
The center stick lower mount bracket is compatible with, but not limited to, the following brands’ flight sticks with removable grip and the ability to add grip extension: Thrustmaster Warthog, F-16C Viper HOTAS, F/A 18 grips, VirPil, VKB and WinWing.
Updated plates are pre-drilled to accommodate the following sticks and stick bases: Thrustmaster Warthog, Virpil, VKB and WinWing.
The bracket includes a universal set of plates and mounting brackets for the following flight sticks Thrustmaster Warthog, F-16C Viper HOTAS, F/A 18 grips, all VirPil sticks and grips, VKB sticks and WinWing stick.
The lower mount bracket allows a long range of vertical adjustments whether the stick is used with or without grip extension.
The lowest height setting is approximately 5.5″ from floor to base plate.
The highest height adjustment with added tube extension is 16.5″, with a total height adjustment of 11″.
The lower mount bracket is also essential when the center-mounted stick with grip extension is used as a helicopter cyclic.
